Payment of the estimated tax by a nonresident is not required if the seller will not recognize any gain or loss under the Interal Revenue Code. This means that, in many cases, sellers involved in either an IRC 1031 exchange or and IRC 1033 exchange are not required to pay the estimated tax.]]></description>
